The current economic context can be characterized as chaotic or on the verge of chaos, which significantly affects project management. In a state of chaos, projects undergo frequent changes in plans that do not always succeed. Projects can be potentially chaotic and their stability or chaos depends on many factors, including external influences and internal changes.

The use of different management approaches, such as dividing the project into independent phases, strategic planning of work packages, and active control over the execution of tasks, are key aspects to prevent internal and external chaos in projects. The ability to manage unexpected events and changes, which is an integral part of project management in a complex economic and social environment, is important.
