Abstract

Excessive variability and unpredictability of the flow of tasks in a business process can lead to an increase in the number of tasks not completed on time, time loss, increased costs and a decrease in the quality of work performed. To increase the balance and predictability of the flow of work within a business process, the lean manufacturing paradigm and the kanban method use analysis and control over the number of unfinished tasks.
